Ritsuko Sullivan studied Applied Linguistics and specializes in Foreign Language Pedagogy. She has devoted herself to teaching for more than 20 years. She has taught various groups including classes at a Japanese junior high school, Phillips Academy Andover, University of Massachusetts Boston, Fitchburg State University, a summer school in Shanghai China and community education schools. Her teaching approach is inspired by L. S Vygotsky鈥檚 sociocultural theory. Ritsuko Sullivan joined Boston College in the 2010-2011 academic year.
