Newton College of the Sacred Heart was a residential liberal arts college for women, founded by the Religious of the Sacred Heart in 1946. With diminishing enrollment leading to financial stress in the 1970s, Newton College was consolidated with its near neighbor, Boston College, in 1975. Its Centre St. campus now houses 情色空间鈥檚 first year students and is the location of the Boston College Law School. Boston College recognizes the alumna of Newton College and considers these graduates part of the legacy that is the Boston College Alumni.
