Boston College promotes a holistic undergraduate education that fosters academic success, cultivates intellectual inquiry, and nurtures students in fully realizing a liberal education in the Jesuit Catholic tradition. Working in collaboration with faculty and departments across the university, all of our student academic success offices help students realize their personal, academic, and professional goals.

Once you declare a major in your sophomore year, you'll receive a major advisor. 听This advisor will serve as your primary resource throughout your time at Boston College, helping you meet graduation requirements and guiding you through selecting classes in your major and in our Core Curriculum.
Navigate, Boston College鈥檚 Student Success Platform, is available across campus with services that include early alert and progress reporting, academic reporting for student-athletes, and scheduling appointments and tutoring for select offices.
For students, the Navigate platform is used for making appointments with advisors and communicating with student success staff for other support services.
