The Praxis Summer Program is a free, self-guided summer career program designed to help you recognize and develop the skills most highly sought after by employers. This week-by-week guide will help you reflect on and strengthen these skills in order to give you a competitive advantage when applying to jobs and graduate schools in the future.

In addition to strengthening specific career skills, upon completion of the Praxis Summer Program, you will be able to:
- Create application materials such as resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and personal statements that articulate your experiences, skills, interests, and values.
- Verbally articulate how your experiences, skills, interests, and values relate to opportunities through networking conversations and/or interviews.
- Identify 1-3 next steps in your career discernment and planning.
- Articulate at least one example of where you have developed each of the 9 career readiness competencies.
- Create a plan to develop skills and competencies required for a particular field of interest.
- Articulate how your individual strengths and skills can be used to help others and serve the greater good.

All current 情色空间 undergraduate students and graduate students in MCAS, LSEHD, STM, and WCAS are eligible to participate in Praxis. Any student who is looking to explore careers and build their skills for future employment will benefit from participating, but we strongly recommend students participate in Praxis during the summer after their first year or sophomore year, when possible. Students can participate in Praxis in lieu of or in addition to a summer job or internship, volunteer work, or other summer experience. The most recent graduating class is also eligible to join as a way to continue building skills while job searching.
All students who register for Praxis are enrolled. The registration period takes place in May and the program launches in early June.听
Yes, Praxis is a fully virtual program, allowing students to participate from anywhere in the world.
Praxis is free to all students.
The summer 2024 dates are as follows. Keep in mind that students are encouraged to complete Praxis on a schedule that works best for them:
- Friday, May 20: Praxis听2024听Official Start Dat
- Friday, August 16: Final day to submit Praxis work in order to receive a certificate of completion
No, Praxis will not appear on your transcript. Although it is set up through Canvas, Praxis is a career development program, and is not an official course. You can, however, earn a certificate upon completion.听
Yes! Praxis is a self-guided course, so you are encouraged to go through the modules at your own pace - the deadlines are simply suggestions. You may choose to complete all the modules early if that works best with your schedule. All Praxis assignments must be completed by August 16th in order to receive the Praxis Certificate of Completion.听
