Thom Shola is responsible for Enterprise Risk Management across Northern Bank, second line of defense risk and compliance oversight of Enterprise Risk Management with a concentrated focus on Risk Management, Regulatory Relations, Safety, and Soundness; End-to-End Risk Consumer and Commercial portfolios.
Shola has more than 31 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Third Party Risk and Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
Shola graduated from Boston College, Woods College with a Master of Science Cybersecurity Policy & Governance in 2019 and had previously taught at Brown University and currently at Boston College.
In addition to working at听Northern Bank and teaching at Boston College, Shola is a member of the President鈥檚 Advisory Council at Mentor Rhode Island and Boston College Law School Advisory Board Member.
