Douglas (DJ) Stockbridge is an assistant professor of accounting at the Boston College Carroll School of Management. He has held teaching positions at the University of New Hampshire and University of Michigan. He is broadly interested in retirement plan regulation, employee compensation, equity ownership, and institutional investors.聽
Stockbridge鈥檚 research focuses on institutional investors鈥 fossil fuel investments, special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) projections, and returns on employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). In his dissertation, he examines how firms manage the number of participants in their retirement plans to avoid audit and disclosure regulation.聽
Prior to academia, Stockbridge worked as a fixed income research associate for Fidelity Investments.
