Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼äPDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼ä departments. The purpose of the ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼äPDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼ä postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼ä

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼ä community

To provide liaison between ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼ä postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼äPDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the ÇéÉ«¿Õ¼äPDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
