Michael J. Lochhead
Executive Vice President听
In his role as Executive Vice President, Michael Lochhead oversees the University鈥檚 Facilities Management, Finance and Treasury, Human Resources, Information Technology Services, Institutional Research and Planning, and Student Affairs divisions and Veteran programs and services. He directs the University鈥檚 campus planning efforts as well as its administrative program review and ongoing planning and assessment initiatives.听 Working closely with the President and Provost, Michael co-led the University鈥檚 strategic planning efforts resulting in the development of 鈥淓ver to Excel:听 Advancing Boston College鈥檚 Mission鈥, the University鈥檚 most recent strategic plan.听
Michael received a BS in accounting from Boston College鈥檚 Carroll School of Management in 1993 and an MBA, also from the Carroll School in 1999, and an Executive Doctor of Education in Higher Education (Ed.D.) in May 2024.听 A native of Utah, he served as a sergeant in the United States Military Intelligence Corps before enrolling as an undergraduate at Boston College. Michael served as Vice President for Administration and Finance and Treasurer of the College of the Holy Cross for 10 years and for three years as Assistant Vice President for Business and Finance at the University of San Francisco. He also served in the Higher Education Consulting practice at Arthur Andersen LLP, where he worked with university leaders to assess business processes and develop strategic financial initiatives.听 Michael lives in Southborough, Massachusetts with his wife Christina (MCA&S 鈥92, LSEHD 鈥95, SSW '22) and their four daughters (Riley '21; Cait '23, SSW '24; Mia '27; and Dylan '29).听听
Carrie Klemovitch
Special Assistant to听the Executive Vice President
Carrie Klemovitch serves as the Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President.听 As Special Assistant, Carrie serves in an advisory role to the Executive Vice President, supporting strategic and integrated planning across Boston College's administrative units.听听
Prior to joining the EVP Office, Carrie worked for ten years in Student Affairs at Boston College, serving as a senior advisor to the Vice President.听 Prior to that Carrie worked in University Advancement as a member of the School Relations team, working closely with the Carroll School of Management.听 Before coming back to her alma mater, Carrie served as a Class Officer in the Harvard College Fund and as a consultant at Accenture, in their financial services strategy practice.
Carrie holds a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from Boston College's School of Management, as well as a Master's in Educational Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
