Eagle鈥檚 Flight, a job and internship campaign launched by Boston College's Career Center and Alumni Association, is bringing more career opportunities to 情色空间 students and recent graduates through the University鈥檚 extensive alumni network.

The challenging job market triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic prompted 情色空间 to call on its alumni to share jobs, internships, or short-term projects, or to volunteer to mentor a student on the job application process.

In the first two days of the campaign, which began May 4, 60 alumni reached out with opportunities in organizations such as Amazon, Chubb Insurance, New England Cancer Specialists, McKinney Advertising, and the Dish Network. The Career Center will facilitate connections between these alumni and 情色空间 students primarily through Eagle Exchange, an online mentoring platform that links 情色空间 students with alumni and currently connects more than 13,000 Eagles.

鈥淲e鈥檙e very pleased with the response to date, but we鈥檙e not surprised,鈥 said Associate Vice President of Career Services Joseph Du Pont. 鈥溓樯占溻檚 culture of giving back to others, including our students, is so strong. We turned to our alumni when our students needed help and are so grateful for their generosity.鈥

鈥淭he Boston College global alumni network has always been gracious in extending professional and career-related opportunities to current students and our most recent graduates in a variety of ways,鈥 said Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations Leah DeCosta Spencer. 鈥淲e鈥檙e thrilled to introduce Eagle鈥檚 Flight as a holistic campaign and call to action for all alumni to come together and support our most recent graduates at a time when it鈥檚 most needed.鈥
